FAQs About Rolliverse
What makes Rolliverse special?
Rolliverse combines the iconic thrill of dice games with beautifully illustrated cards and unique themed worlds. Every roll creates new opportunities as players collect valuable cards and use clever combinations, strategy, and a bit of luck to score the most points and win the game.
How does a game of Rolliverse work?
Each round is all about rolling, choosing, and collecting. The dice determine your available options, while the cards bring the chosen theme to life. Rolliverse is easy to learn, yet offers exciting decisions and strategic choices with every roll.
What age group is Rolliverse suitable for?
Rolliverse is designed for children aged 7 and up, as well as families, couples, groups of friends, and game enthusiasts. The rules are quick to learn, while the wide variety of card combinations and themed worlds keeps every game fresh and engaging.
How many people can play Rolliverse?
Each Rolliverse box is designed for 2 to 4 players. Since the different themed worlds can be combined, the game can expand with additional boxes. By combining at least two different themed sets, up to 6 players can join the fun.
Can I play Rolliverse with just one box?
Yes. Every themed world is a complete game that can be played right out of the box. Additional themed sets are optional and simply expand your Rolliverse with new worlds, extra cards, unique dice, and an exclusive Artifact card that introduces even more variety and challenges.
What happens when I combine multiple themed worlds?
Different favorite worlds come together in a single game. Each player can choose the theme they enjoy most while still sharing the same game experience. Combining multiple boxes adds more variety, more strategic options, and larger player counts without changing the core dice mechanics.
Which Rolliverse themed worlds are available?
The Rolliverse currently includes:
- Rolli's Adventures
- Star Wars™
- Stitch
- Minecraft
- Foodimals
- Dragons
Each themed world features its own style, unique cards, and distinct gameplay experience while remaining fully compatible with other Rolliverse games.
Why should I collect multiple Rolliverse boxes?
Each additional Rolliverse box expands your game with new cards, new combinations, and new strategic possibilities. As your collection grows, so does your Rolliverse, creating even more variety and replayability.
Will there be more Rolliverse themed worlds in the future?
Yes. The Rolliverse universe is continuously expanding. New themed worlds regularly introduce fresh gameplay ideas, additional combinations, and exciting new adventures. Fans can stay up to date through the newsletter and official social media channels.
FAQs About Rules & Gameplay
What does "play a card" mean?
In Rolliverse, "playing a card" means scoring it. If you roll a valid combination during your turn and have one or more cards that require that exact combination, either in your hand or in the shared display area, you may take those cards and place them in front of you.
Once played, those cards count toward your score, regardless of whether they came from your hand or the shared display.
What happens if I don't roll a matching combination?
If you can't roll a combination that matches a card, you must place one card from your hand into the shared display area. That card can then be claimed by any player, including yourself, in a future turn.
Can I claim a card from the display area that I placed there myself?
Yes. On a later turn, you may reclaim a card you previously placed in the shared display area if you roll the required combination. Cards in the display area are available to all players, including the player who placed them there.
Can I play multiple cards at the same time?
Yes, but only if they require exactly the same dice combination. For example, you may play two cards that require a Full House. However, you cannot play a Small Straight and a Large Straight at the same time because they are different combinations.
Can the World Wanderer / Five of a Kind card be played if another player has already played it?
Yes. It is the only card that can also be stolen from another player. If you meet the requirements, you may take the card even if it has already been played by someone else.
Please note: if an Artifact card allows you to take cards from other players, the Artifact's effect always takes precedence. Follow the instructions on the Artifact card in that case.
