But be careful: Max the cat is sneaking around. The mouse that meets him loses a piece of cheese in fright. Sometimes Max plays with them and then they can't move on for a while. Which one of them is the bravest and can get 5 pieces of cheese first?
Each player chooses their favorite mouse. The dice determines how far it can move. The paw dice shows how far Max the cat can move. Both dice are rolled on each turn, and the mouse moves first, followed by the cat. Depending on which square a mouse lands on, it can collect one or two pieces of cheese. Every now and then, a mouse lands on a special square, such as the cheese whirl. Now the cheese in the middle of the board is turned: Which square will the mouse land on now? The mouse hole provides a place to rest. Here, the rodents are safe from Max, who loves to scare the little ones. But he really just wants to play with them!
