Description
The motto of the children's game Äpfelchen (Little Apples) is: pick apples and fill buckets. Each child has their own apple tree in the garden. Now the apples are ripe and the harvest can begin. But watch out, don't let the cheeky raven or the delicious ice cream distract you! The board game playfully promotes an initial understanding of rules, perception, and early counting skills.
The rotating arrow in the game Äpfelchen (Little Apples) tells the young players what to do next: sometimes they pick the corresponding number of apples from their tree. Other times, they read the number of apples shown on the field indicated by the arrow and pick that many apples from their meadow.
Sometimes the player has to skip a turn, other times the arrow points to a picture that means someone has knocked over the player's entire bucket and they now have to put their apples on their meadow. Throughout the game, it is of course important to watch what the other players are doing. And whether the others can count correctly. The first player to fill their bucket with ten apples wins the game.
