Description
The new board game is called “Minecraft Portal Dash”. It is a cooperative adventure game for 1-4 players. The players try to escape from Minecraft’s fiery underworld, the Nether. They sprint through rugged landscapes full of magma and lava and must prove themselves in battle against dangerous monsters. Only if the players complete the portal in time and defeat its monstrous guardian can they succeed in the adventure together.
In their turn, players use their equipment to perform two actions. They collect valuable blocks with pickaxes, move around the board with boots, and use swords and bows to defend themselves against monsters. As the game progresses, they collect stronger equipment and prepare for the arduous adventure. To win the game together, players must cross the rugged landscapes of the Nether boards and defeat the end boss monster that awaits them at the end. Along the way, they must collect the missing portal stones, which require a variety of blocks. Players lose if they deliver them too late or if the blocks in stock run out. If a player’s life points drop to zero, the team also loses. Therefore, it is important to keep the monsters that lurk on the boards and constantly reappear in check.
