Ravensburger creates a high-quality canvas with numbered fields from the photo you upload in our Painting by Numbers Designer. For a perfect result it is important to choose a suitable image. Portraits of people which mainly show the face and some background, are ideal. Photos with several people/faces and photos of animals or landscapes are suitable as well, but they will show less detail than portraits. Please note that large areas with different colours are easier to paint than small details. In case you are creating a my Painting by Numbers for children, please make sure to use large areas with different colours and contrast, so that the painting process will be a success for the little artist. For a perfect result it is also important to use a photo that isn’t blurry and has good exposure.
An individual canvas in original Ravensburger Quality
The canvas for your my Painting by Numbers is generated individually in an elaborate process and surpasses our strict quality checks. After uploading your photo in our designer you will receive a link with canvas suggestions via email. Once you confirm your canvas, we will produce your canvas and hand-pick the required paint pots. The number and size of the numbered section may vary depending on the level of detail of your photo, which is why we cannot give a specific age recommendation.
